The Town of Beausejour is a blooming success!
Receiving 5 blooms at the provincial level, and also receiving  a special mention for the Daylily Gardens with the judges listing the green area and flower beds as a "botanical treasure" with an impressive collection of trees and fruiting shrubs.

Less than an hour's drive north -east of Winnipeg sits the small town of Beausejour, home of the Daylily Gardens, the coldest American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) Display Garden in the world.Supported by the Friends of the Beausejour Daylily Gardens, this horticultural gem is home to a diverse collection of daylilies, iris, other perennials and ornamental shrubs.
Welcome to Beausejour Daylily Gardens

The Friends of the Beausejour Daylily Gardens meets every third Monday of every month. Our next meeting is March  19 7:30 pm at the town office
The Friends are responsible for the planning that goes into the park, and the Town provides some maintenance, how ever it is the "Garden Angels" who maintain the park to AHS Display Garden standards. Each section has a folk art sign with it's number and the name of the Angel looking after it.
The Daylily Gardens now has about 100 Angels, but we still need a few more. The benefits include fresh air, sunshine and friendship..
